Giant air heavy-duty staple gun injury penetrated through the nail!
Nail guns are no joke.
They are primarily used to fire nails into wood, steel, and masonry.
These injuries commonly occur related to improper use by the operator, and not following occupational health and safety requirements for operating a heavy duty staple gun.
Mechanisms of staple gun injury include direct penetration, shrapnel wounds from exploding cartridges, and high-pressure injection injuries from the compressed air used to activate the gun.
On the day of injury, the U-shaped staple was removed surgically.
