About the Event

Our Post Mortem Anatomy Arena doors are open once more at location UK wide and we invite you to scrub up, pick up the scalpel and dive inside the anatomy of the human body in a live autopsy experience. Book your front row seats into the world of pathology, forensics, true crime and human anatomy. Tick off the bucket list and take part in an immersive live human body dissection experience where YOU become the pathologist. Work with our award winning and nationally acclaimed human anatomists to peel back the skin and dissect your way through real organ specimens to identify the cause of death.

This years live show is based on the infamous Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe and his span of female killings between 1975 and 1980. In a purely scientific way we unpick the actions of the man behind the killings and how modern science and forensics can be applied to identify how and who might be responsible.

The show examines the killings of 9 women who we're brutally attacked & murdered between 1971 & 1992. The live interactive show exposes the anatomy of the human body immersed in a forensic plot full of fast paced twists and turns. Apply real forensic tests similar to those used to catch serial killers & the evidence used to prosecute Peter Sutcliffe.

Dissect real organ specimens, take part in, observe and learn the science of forensics & pathology used when a suspect abducts & murders his victims. Is it possible to deceive the science and conspire to carry out the perfect murder?

Hold onto your hat... brace your stomach for this cutting edge insight into dark world of homocide detective work, forensics and pathology in this fictional, but chilling case.

The Ripper, Lancashire 1971-1992 -based on the true story.

Between 1971 & 1992 Lancashire was rocked by a succession of female murders. The largest manhunt in criminal history was launched with the help of five police forces, despite this every lead threw no results. For 20 years he remained at large, with the killing spree seemingly ending in 1991.

After almost 30 years without justice, a roadside stop in 2023 lead to a break through in the case. Decades of police work and advancements in science and evidence preservation have identified Martin Shuttington as a likely suspect.

The recovery of a body in Lichfield, Staffordshire, a roadside vehicle stop reopens the case on a year old mystery, is Martin Shuttington the infamous Lancashire Ripper?
